This course is designed specifically for out of hospital birth providers, but is open to all. The Neonatal Resuscitation Program is based on guidelines put forth by the the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Heart Association (AHA) for cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the newborn. Participants must be familiar with the material in Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation, 6th Edition, and are required to take and pass the online examination prior to attending the NRP class. Class time is used primarily for discussion and skills assessment and includes little to no lecture.

On-line Course Completion Verification
Participants must bring course completion verification with them to class in order to participate.
Participants are required to take, pass and print out the verification of on-line completion prior to arrival for course. The on-line portion should be taken no more than 30 days prior to the day of certification.
