This course is aimed at women who want to work as midwifery assistants in homebirth or out-of-hospital settings, specifically in the United States. Once you have taken the Basic Birth Assistant course then you are eligible to take the Advanced Birth Assistant course. These skills will help you to better serve alongside the midwife and mother and will allow you greater confidence in birth.
Upon the completion of both the Basic and the Advanced Birth Assistant courses, NRP and CPR you will be eligible to receive your Birth Assistant certification through GoMidwife.
