We are excited to offer a workshop this summer on Pharmacology!

When: July 9, 2019

Where: Kailua Kona, Hawaii

Cost: $125

MEAC CEUs will be offered

All too often we are called upon to make decisions, explanations, and observations on what aspects of pharmacological drugs to use in birth.  Our clients have questions as do those we work with in hospitals and birth centers.  Much of this information is confusing and can be presented in complicated ways.  With the advent of licensure here in the state of Hawaii as well as other areas around the country, we are pleased to offer a framework to get this information into your hands.

At this upcoming one day workshop we will spend two sessions (one on the morning and one in the afternoon) covering topics including:

  • allopathic medications, dosages, allergies and interactions
  • non-allopathic herbs and homeopathy and how they are to be used
  • indications for when certain medications should and should not be used
  • the physiological aspects for how and why common medications work within the body from the cellular level to the major body mechanics
  • role play for situations that require decisions to be made on utilizing various pharmacological agents
  • and much more!
